The present petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging that a guest house is being illegally run, from the premises at ground floor of the residential property bearing No.21-A, Hauz Rani, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-110017.

that pursuant to receipt of a complaint by the petitioner, the property was inspected by the MCD and a show cause notice came to be issued to the owner/occupier of the premises in question since it was found that the guest house was being run without a 'Health Trade Licence'. 3.

Learned counsel for the MCD further submits that on 27.02.2024, an affidavit/undertaking has been given by the owner/occupier of the property that the guest house has been closed for now, and that the same will not be re-opened till the MCD issues a valid licence permitting the respondent to run the same.

The above position is confirmed by the respondent no.4, who is also present in person. He submits that the operation of the guest house has been ceased for now, and that the same shall not resume until a valid licence is obtained from the MCD for the same.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner does not seek to press the present petition at this stage. The same is accordingly, disposed of.
