O R D E R

The petitioner claims that he is a street vendor and was carrying on his vending activities between Gate No.1 and 7, Palika Bazar, Connaught Place, New Delhi.

The aforesaid contention is disputed by the learned counsel appearing for respondents New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). He submits that Indira Chowk and Rajiv Chowk are 'No Vending Zones' and therefore in any event no person can be permitted to vend at the said area. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however, submits that the present petition is confined to seeking a direction for enabling the petitioner to participate in the survey that is currently being undertaken. 4.

In view of the above, we consider it apposite to dispose of the present petition by directing that the petitioner is not precluded from participating in the survey currently being undertaken by the concerned Town Vending Committee (TVC).

The petitioner is at liberty to furnish such documents and other material to the concerned authorities to establish that he is the bona fide The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. street vendor. Needless to state that if any such material is furnished by the petitioner, the concerned Town Vending Committee (TVC) shall examine the same in accordance with law.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending applications are also disposed of.
