The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning an order dated 10.01.2019 whereby the respondent no.2's application under Rule 22 (3) (1) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 was allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner has been directed to vacate the premises bearing No. WZ-625/1, near Syndicate Market, Raj Nagar, Part-1, Palam Colony, Palam Village, Delhi-110045. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition to avail of the alternate remedies by filing an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner in terms of Rule 22 (3) (4) of the aforesaid Rules. She, however, requests that the impugned order not be implemented for a further period of one week from today in order for the petitioner to avail of his alternate remedies.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, it is clarified that the impugned order would not be implemented for a further period of one week from today.
