W.P.(CRL) 200/2020 Vide this petition, petitioner is seeking his transfer from CJ-2, Tihar Jail to CJ-14, Mandoli Jail. Petitioner is undergoing life sentence in FIR No. 507/2008, under Sections 302/307/324/34 IPC, registered at police station Anand Vihar, Delhi.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner's mother is a heart patient and is suffering from many ailments and she faces great difficulty to go for mulakat at Tihar Jail. He further submits that petitioner is facing threat to his life in Tihar Jail. Upon notice, learned counsel appearing on behalf of W.P.(CRL) 200/2020

respondent/State has placed on record nominal roll dated 22nd January, 2020 showing that petitioner's conduct in jail has been unsatisfactory. At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner prays that the concerned authorities be directed to consider and decide the application of petitioner filed in December, 2019 expeditiously. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/State assures that the above application shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with the law.

In view of aforesaid, learned counsel for petitioner does not press this petition while taking liberty to avail the remedy available to him in accordance with law.

This petition stands disposed of as not pressed accordingly, with liberty as prayed for.
