Through the present Petition, the Petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the Letter dated 09.06.2025 issued by the Respondents, whereby the claim for maintenance was rejected to the Petitioner.

The Petitioner is the wife of Respondent No.2/Mr. Ajay Kumar, who is working in Indian Cost Guard. In a Petition filed by the Petitioner under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, an order, assessing the maintenance payable to the Petitioner, was passed. In order to ensure its compliance, directions were issued to the Indian Coast Guard for remitting the amount in a staggered manner. The Petitioner complains that there has been only partial compliance of the aforesaid order.

Per contra, learned counsel representing the Respondents submits that the order has been complied with in full spirit and with due deference to the Court.

Keeping in view the stand taken by the Respondent, the present Petition is disposed of as no further order is required to be passed. 5.
