% 21.03.2025 [Physical Hearing/Hybrid Hearing (as per request)] 1.

Petitioners have sought quashing of FIR No.0098/2021 of PS Karawal Nagar for offences under Sections 498A/406/354/34 IPC and Section 4, Dowry Prohibition Act. All petitioners and complainant de facto have personally appeared, identified by IO/SI Amarpal Singh. Besides, Sh. Pankaj Kumar, counsel for complainant de facto also is present. 2.

I have spoken with the parties in Hindi. It is stated by all of them that they have settled all their disputes amicably and marriage of petitioner no.1 and the complainant de facto stands dissolved by way of decree of divorce. Towards full and final settlement of all her claims, the complainant de facto has already received from petitioners a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-. That being so, the complainant de facto submits that she does not want the prosecution of petitioners to continue.

I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice to not push the parties through trial so that they live peacefully. 4.

Therefore, the petition is allowed and consequently the FIR No.0098/2021 of PS Karawal Nagar for offences under Sections 498A/406/354/34 IPC and Section 4, Dowry Prohibition Act as well as the proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Pending applications stands disposed of.
