This writ petition is in furtherance of W.P.(C) 17995/2025, filed by the petitioner seeking a direction for disposal of his representation pending before the Standing Screening Committee.

The earlier writ petition, being W.P.(C) 17995/2025, was decided on 27.11.2025. Till date, the decision has not been taken by the Standing Screening Committee.

The petitioner has filed a contempt petition alleging non-compliance of that order.

According to the learned counsel for the respondent, Standing Screening Committee has decided the issue and the matter is pending before the DIG Training.

The learned counsel for the respondent seeks 10 days' time for taking final decision. He also states that a communication thereof shall be sent to the petitioner.

If the decision is not communicated to the petitioner within a period of 10 days, the DIG Training shall be present before the contempt court on 01.04.2026.
