The Petitioner was appointed as Bungalow Khalasi dehors the regular recruitment process, and his engagement was co-terminus with the tenure of Sh. G.S. Suri, then Chief Mechanical Engineer (P), COFMOW. The Petitioner was subsequently granted a temporary status.

Sh. G.S. Suri retired from service on 31.08.2007, hence, after paying one month's salary in lieu of one month‟s notice, the Petitioner‟s services were dispensed with on 18.09.2007. The Petitioner filed Original Application (O.A.), which has been dismissed by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). 3.
