The present petition has been filed under Section 483 read with Section 528 BNSS seeking the following relief:

(a) allow the· present petition and extend the interim bail dated 21.01.2025 granted by Ld. ASJ, East, Karkardooma Court, Delhi in case SC No. I 051/2018 titled as State Vs Veer Singh & Ors to the petitioner for further period of 60 days;

Clarifying the prayer, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the date of impugned order has been wrongly mentioned as 21.01.2025 instead of 24.02.2025.

She submits that the learned ASJ (FTC), East, Karkardooma Courts, vide impugned order dated 24.02.2025 has rejected the extension of interim bail granted to the petitioner only on the ground that the proper treatment can be given to the applicant in jail.

She submits that there is no dispute that the petitioner has undergone surgery of Subtalar of Arthrodesis on 19.01.2025 and thereafter, implant was removed by a surgical intervention on 19.02.2025. She submits that the certificate given by the City Hospital and Trauma Centre also clearly mentions that no body weight bearing or walking till 04 to 05 weeks be done by the petitioner and complete bed rest has been advised. 7.

On instructions, she submits that she is confining her prayer for extension of interim bail for a period of two weeks. 8.

The learned counsel for the complainant submits that he has no objection in case the extension is granted only for a period of two weeks and no further extension is sought by the petitioner. 9.

At this, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has instructions to state that no further extension of interim bail will be sought by the petitioner. The statement is taken on record. 10.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner is further extended for a period of two weeks from today on the same terms and conditions on which the interim bail was granted to the petitioner vide order dated 22.01.2025 passed by the learned ASJ The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Upon expiry of period of two weeks as stated above, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent.
