The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 13th January, 2026, in accordance with law, against unauthorized construction as detailed in the said complaint.

In paragraph no. 2.3 of the writ petition, the petitioner has provided the details of the buildings, where unauthorized construction has been carried out. It is stated that the petitioner resides in the same locality. 4.

and marked to the respondent no.1/MCD for appropriate action. 4.1.

It is further submitted that the complaint has not been closed yet. 5.

Mr. Kapil Dutta, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD, submits that MCD shall inspect all the subject properties in question and take appropriate action in accordance with law. 6.

The inspection shall be carried out within two (2) weeks from today, and thereafter appropriate action, if so warranted, shall be taken in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the present writ petition stands disposed of. 8.

In the event the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
