The instant bail application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (earlier Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973) read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner/applicant for extension of interim bail in FIR No. 613/2019 registered at Police Station - Paschim Vihar West for the offences punishable under Sections 365/302/376/411/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submitted that The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
the applicant was granted interim bail by the learned Sessions Court vide order dated 28th December, 2024 and the same was extended time and again on various grounds, however, vide the impugned order dated 17th February, 2025, the learned Sessions Court rejected the applicant's request for extension of interim bail, and directed the applicant to surrender before the concerned Jail Authority on 27th February, 2024, i.e., today. 3.
It is submitted that the applicant had filed the instant application seeking extension of interim bail on the ground that he wants to fulfil social obligations with his newly wedded wife as well as to perform Barsi of his grand-father who had expired on 14th March, 2024. However, on instructions, it is submitted that at this stage, the applicant is not pressing the instant application on merits, and it is prayed that one day's time may be granted to the accused for surrendering before the Court concerned/Jail Superintendent.

Mr. Raghuinder Verma, learned APP appearing on behalf of the State, appearing on advance notice, accepted notice and vehemently opposed the instant application, however, it is submitted that he has no objection for extension of one day time to surrender as the interim bail period is expiring today.

Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 6.
Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, on instructions, that he is not pressing the instant application on merits and only one day's time may be granted to surrender as well as the no objection made by the learned APP for the State, this Court is inclined to extend the interim bail granted to the applicant.

In view of the aforesaid, the applicant is directed to surrender before the Court concerned/Jail superintendent on or before 3rd March, 2025. 8.
Accordingly, the instant bail application stands disposed of along with the pending applications, if any.
