It transpires during the course of hearing that necessary demolition action has been taken against the alleged illegal construction. During the course of hearing, it transpires that certain iron rods remain to be removed by the respondents. It is assured and undertaken by the learned counsel for the respondents that the remaining action, inter-alia, for the purpose of removing the iron rods referred to by the petitioners shall be taken expeditiously and concluded within a period of eight weeks from today, in case the same are not voluntarily removed by the respondent nos.6 and 9.

No further orders are required to be passed in the present petition; the same is, accordingly, disposed of.

In case it transpires that there has been any deficiency in the action taken by the DDA, the petitioners shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
