The petitioner has filed this contempt petition alleging violation of the order dated 18.05.2022, by which the respondents were restrained from terminating the services of the petitioners in Vandana Gautam and Ors. vs. GNCTD and Ors [W.P.(C) 7651/2022]. It was specifically directed that petitioners will be permitted to continue in the same capacity in which they were working as on that date.

The contention of the petitioner is that her service was last extended until 30.11.2024 and she has not been given an extension thereafter.

Mr. Shivendra Singh, learned counsel for respondent No. 1, who appears on advance notice, accepts that there has been some delay in issuing the extension letter to the petitioner, and the same will be issued CONT.CAS(C) 302/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. within a period of two weeks from today after working out the campus of the university to which the petitioner will be allocated. 4.

The contempt petition is disposed of, binding the respondents to the aforesaid submissions.

Mr. Siddharth, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that, in view of the delay in issuing the extension letter, the petitioner has not been paid salary for the last three months. Mr. Singh assures the Court that necessary remedial steps will be taken within the aforesaid time. 6.

The contempt petition, alongwith pending application, stands disposed of with these directions.
