This petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "I. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents Specially DG CRPF to correct the effective date of grant of Senior Time Scale (STS) to 12.04.2016 (being the date of completion of the qualifying service) in place of 14.06.2017; and Grant ofSTS to the Petitioner w.e.f 12.04.2016 along with all the consequential benefits at par with his immediate junior, Yakub Khan, as well as in terms of the judgement of this hon'ble High Court of Delhi in Ajit Kumar Choudhary V. Union of India & Ors., as affirmed by dismissal of SLP (C) NO. 20342/2023 II. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents Specially DG CRPF to grant Senior Time Scale (STS) to the Petitioner w.e.f. In effect, the petitioner is seeking Senior Time Scale (STS) w.e.f., 12.04.2016.

Mr. Abhay Kumar Bhargava, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the issue is covered by the judgment of this Court in the case of Ajit Kumar Choudhary v. Union of India & Ors., W.P.(C) 7245/2019, decided on 01.09.2022.

On instructions, the learned counsel for the respondents submits that the issue which arises for consideration in this petition is pending consideration in the case of Union of India & Ors. v. Manorama Singh & Ors, Special Leave to Appeal (C) No(s).754/2022. 5.

In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the respondents, we dispose of the petition by directing that decision for grant of STS shall be taken by the respondents based on the outcome of the case in Union of India & Ors. v. Manorama Singh & Ors (supra) within four weeks of the decision.

The petition is disposed of.
