By way of present petition, the petitioners are seeking quashing of FIR bearing No. 239/2021, registered at Police Station, Prashant Vihar, Delhi under Sections 509/506/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2.

Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 3.

Brief facts of the case are that the present FIR has been registered against the petitioners on the basis of the complaint and subsequent application under Section 156 (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereafter 'Cr.P.C'). Thereafter, with the intervention of well wishers and relatives, both the parties have resolved and settled their all disputes with each other before the learned JMFC on 10.07.2024. 4.

by their counsels and Investigating Officer concerned. 5.

The complainants/respondent nos. 2 and 3, who are present state that they have no objection, if the FIR is quashed. 6.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion and also the fact that the cross FIR already stands quashed, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No239/2021, registered at Police Station, Prashant Vihar, Delhi under Sections 509/506/34 of the IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to cost of Rs.5,000/- on petitioner no. 1, to be deposited with Advocates' Welfare Fund, Rohini Courts, Delhi within seven days from date. 8.

In view of above, the present petition stands disposed of. 9.
