% 26.02.2019 CONT.CAS(C) 88/2019, CM No. 7563/2019 This petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of order dated January 14, 2019.
It is the submission of Mr. Sudhir Nandrajog, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner that in terms of the said order, the respondent was required to grant permission to the petitioner and her husband to contact the prospective parents and adoptive child. He states, that if such a permission is not granted then the petitioner and her husband are unable to get themselves registered with the U.S. Authorities. Mr. Gaurant Kanth, learned counsel appearing for the respondent
submits that the respondent had issued an order dated 23rd February, 2019, which reads as under:- "Based on the directions of the Hon‟ble High Court of Delhi and the orders of the Hon‟ble Supreme Court of India, the Authority shall permit the Authorised Foreign Adoption Agency in the country of residence to register the applicant and her husband as prospective adoptive parents under Regulation 53 of the Adoption Regulations, 2017 without insisting for family tree in the category of Relative Adoptions." Mr. Kanth would state that the petitioner and her husband are at liberty to contact the prospective adoptive parents and the child. In other words, no express communication in that regard is necessary. Mr. Nandrajog states, the said submission of Mr. Kanth, having been recorded by this Court, no further orders are required to be passed in the contempt petition. Accordingly, the contempt petition is disposed of.
