% 24.01.2020 Crl.M.A.No.1583/2020 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Accordingly, the application stands disposed of. W.P.(Crl.) No.213/2020 Present writ of habeas corpus has been filed by the petitionerhusband seeking production of his wife-Ms.Priyanka, who has been allegedly abducted and illegally confined by the petitioner's neighbour-Mr.Manish Anand since 28th October, 2018. Learned counsel for the State has handed over a status report in Court today. In the said report, it has been stated that even Mr. Manish Anand had been missing from his house since the same date i.e. 28th October, 2018 and the missing report had been lodged by his
relatives.
After hearing both the parties at some length, this Court finds that two petitions under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. have already been filed by the petitioner before the Trial Court. Keeping in view the aforesaid, the present criminal writ petition is disposed of within a direction to the Delhi Police to file a status report before the concerned Trial Court at least once a month under the signature of the concerned DCP with an advance copy to the petitioner.
