This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- "a. Issue appropriate writ/order/directions in the nature of mandamus directing Respondents to permit the petitioner to appear in the examination of B.A. (Programme), Part-III for Discipline-I (Subject Code - C140) under the "Centenary Chance" policy of the University of Delhi, as approved in the special meeting of the Executive Council held on 28.01.2022, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and to extend to the Petitioner the same benefit which has been granted to other similarly situated students, in the interest of justice.

b. Issue appropriate writ/order/directions in the nature of mandamus and direct the Respondents to pay the cost of this petition to the petitioner..."

For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3.

Mr. Rupal, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.

After some arguments, Mr. Bidhuri, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that he would be satisfied if the petition is considered as a representation and respondent No. 2, i.e. Controller Of Examination, Examination Wing, University of Delhi, is directed to treat the petition as a representation and dispose it in accordance with extant rules and regulations.

Mr. Rupal, learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to the same.

For the said reasons, the petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 2, i.e. Controller Of Examination, Examination Wing, University of Delhi to treat the petition as a representation and after hearing the petitioner, dispose of the representation with a reasoned order, expeditiously and not later than 4 weeks from today. 7.
