% 05.02.2019 Crl.M.A. 2699/2019 Exemption allowed subject to just exceptions. W.P.(CRL) 383/2019 The petitioner was granted parole for a period of two weeks by the GNCTD subject to various conditions including that the parole was for a period of two months from the date of issuance. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the father of the petitioner was unwell and in Kanpur he could not come to furnish the surety bond and thus the petitioner could not avail the parole granted to him. He further states that the engagement of the petitioner is now fixed for 20th February, 2019 and marriage on 28th February, 2019, thus he needs parole. Consequently, the communicated dated 6th December, 2018 granting parole W.P.(CRL) 383/2019
be modified to the extent that the period of parole be extended as also the condition that the grant of parole would expire after two months of issue be also waived so that petitioner can avail parole at the time of marriage. Notice. Learned proxy counsel for the learned Additional Standing Counsel accepts notice.
Renotify on 12th February, 2019.
