% 01.03.2016 The present is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying as follows:- "a) Direct the respondents No. 1 to 3 to carry out fair and expeditious investigation in FIR No. 755 of 2015 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC, PS Malviya Nagar, New Delhi; b) Pass any other or further orders as may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice."

Mr. Rajesh Mahajan, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) appearing on behalf of the official respondent, on instructions from the Investigating Officer in the subject FIR namely ASI Ved Prakash, Police Station- Malviya Nagar, Delhi, states that the investigation into the subject FIR shall be completed without any unnecessary delay and a charge-sheet shall be filed positively within a period of four weeks from today. Directed accordingly.

With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed of whilst reserving liberty to the petitioner herein to approach this Court afresh in the event she is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the police to act fairly in

accordance with law.
