The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents to remove the illegal encroachment made by respondent no.3 on a public street by placing his goods and articles outside his shop. Photographs have been filed with the writ petition to show that respondent no.3 has kept his goods and articles for sale on the public street, thereby blocking the street.

Counsel appearing on behalf of respondents no.1 and 2 submits that MCD shall take appropriate steps to clear the encroachment on the public street.

Taking the aforesaid statement on record and binding the MCD, the present writ petition is disposed of. MCD shall take appropriate action in W.P.(C) 3410/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. accordance with law within one (1) week from today. 4.
MCD shall also inspect the property in question at regular intervals so as to ensure that the public street is not blocked in any manner by making encroachments to the public street.
