O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 54/2019 This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended, however, recommends that the time be extended by a period of four months. Having noted the contents of the petition, in my view, the time for making of the Award by the Arbitral Tribunal deserve to be extended by a period of five months with effect from 27.02.2019. It is ordered accordingly.

There shall be no order as to cost.
