% 09.07.2024 CRL.M.A. 19747/2024 By way of the present application filed under section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita ('BNSS'), the petitioner/applicant seeks withdrawal of the present petition based on the premise that he has amicably settled his disputes with the respondent.

Since the alleged offence and all proceedings in the matter thus far have been continuing under the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC') and Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.'), the present application is treated as an application under section 482 Cr.P.C., in view of the 'Repeal and savings' clause contained in section 531 BNSS. 3.

For the reasons stated in the application which are duly supported by an affidavit, the application is allowed.
