% 06.02.2019 Crl. M.A. no.2735/2018 (exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Application is disposed of. CRL.M.C. 661/2019 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 (husband) and respondent no. 2 (wife) have started living together after settling their disputes. Respondent no.2-Ms. Pinki is present in Court and has been identified by Sub-Inspector Ramesh Kumar of police station Sultanpuri. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no. 1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that presently she has no grievance against the petitioner no.1 and his family members and has no

objection in case FIR No. 761/2016 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Sultanpuri is quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 6. Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
