The learned APP for the State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, who is present in Court, fairly states that the petitioners have joined investigation and they are no more required for any further investigation. However, he further adds that there is a complaint filed by the complainant vide DD 2A dated 14.02.2023 wherein it has been alleged that threats have been extended by the associates of the present petitioners to the complainant.

4.

However, on a query posed by the Court, the learned APP apprises the Court that the investigation into the said complaint is still pending. 5.

Considering the fact that the petitioners have joined investigation and they are no more required for further investigation and the complaint alleging threat is almost one year old i.e. prior to grant of interim protection to the petitioners and the investigation qua the said complaint has not made any headway, it is directed that in the event of petitioners being arrested, they be released on bail subject to their furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- each and a surety bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer / Arresting Officer, further subject to the condition that they will join investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer concerned.
