% 11.03.2020 This petition has been pending since 28.01.2020 with repeated adjournments being sought by the petitioners. Today again, on being confronted regarding the exact location of the shop and the activity being carried out by the petitioners not been clearly mentioned in the petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners prays for an adjournment.
The petition in fact, makes vague prayers which are reproduced herein below:
"a) issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing thereby the respondents to abide by the policy as framed by the government for regularization of unauthorized colonies which permit that the residents and occupants of unauthorized colonies can run their shops in these
unauthorized colonies without any discrimination and not to apply any pick and choose policy while dealing the issue of livelihood of petitioner which is running on private land property bearing Khasra no. 308, measuring 18 biswa and 8 biswansi of village Chhatarpur, New Delhi 110074 which is squarely covered under the government policy;
b) issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing thereby the respondents not to take coercive and perceive action only against the petitioners but to apply uniform policy while dealing with the issue of livelihood of petitioners with the other persons who are running their livelihood through the same nature of business by selling flowers at Lodhi Road, Sarojini Nagar, Saket, Pushp Vihar, Chattarpur, Mahipalpur, Malviya Nagar, Kalkaji, Lado Sarai etc."
The learned counsel for the petitioners is unable to assist this Court. He admits that there is vagueness in the pleadings. In view of the above, the present petition is allowed to be withdrawn by the petitioners, granting liberty to take appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
