The present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the Petitioner seeking his release on regular Parole on account of demise of his sister, namely, Ms. Aloka Devi on 07.02.2025. 2.

It is submitted that the Application for parole was filed before the concerned Jail Superintendent but he has expressed his inability to decide it on an urgent basis. Hence, the present Petition has been filed. 3.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for Respondent-State has appeared on advance Notice and he submits that the matter be forwarded to the Jail Authorities who shall decide the same in accordance with the law.
