After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued for expeditious disposal, he shall not press this petition at this stage.

In view of the above and keeping in view the totality of facts and circumstances of the case and the number of witnesses remaining and also the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 03.03.2016, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution evidence and endeavour to conclude the same within a period of one year from the next date of hearing before the Trial Court. 3.

In view of the above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition. BAIL APPLN. 323/2019

Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
