By way of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner seeks quashing of an order dated 23.12.2025, passed by the Superintendent-II, Prison Head Quarters, Tihar, New Delhi, by which his request to be lodged in a Semi-Open Jail was rejected. 2.

Mr. Siddharth Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous, as the petitioner has already been granted regular bail.
