The petitioner has filed this contempt petition alleging violation of the order dated 24.02.2022, by which the respondents were restrained from terminating the services of the petitioners in Rajesh Kumar Chawla and Ors. vs. GNCTD and Ors [W.P.(C) 3393/2022]. The said petitioners included the present petitioner herein. It was specifically directed that petitioners will be permitted to continue in the same capacity in which they were working as on that date.

The contention of the petitioner is that his service was last extended until 30.11.2024 and has not been given an extension thereafter. 3.

issuing the extension letter to the petitioner, and the same will be issued within a period of one week from today after working out the campus of the university to which the petitioner will be allocated. 4.

The contempt petition is disposed of, binding the respondents to the aforesaid submissions.

Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that in view of the delay in issuing the extension letter, the petitioner has not been paid salary for the last three months. Mr. Singh assures the Court that necessary remedial steps will be taken in the aforesaid time. 6.

The contempt petition, alongwith the pending application, stands disposed of with these directions.
