The petitioner/wife is seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent/husband for the willful and deliberate defiance of the directions contained in the order dated 18.11.2024, passed by the learned Mahila Court-01, Saket Courts, South-East District.

In a nutshell, the learned Court vide order dated 18.11.2024 has passed certain directions thereby calling upon the respondent/husband to make payments of EMI to the tune of Rs.50,000/- towards the subject property, as well as Rs.1,00,000/- towards the maintenance of the child, who is evidently in the care and custody of the petitioner/wife.

Learned counsel for the respondent is also present on advance notice.

Having heard the learned counsels for the parties, it appears that the execution applications have already been instituted on behalf of the petitioner/wife before the Court concerned, and some part payment has been made but substantial amount is yet to be recovered from the respondent/husband.

Be that as it may, after some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner/wife requests permission to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to seek appropriate remedies before the Court concerned in accordance with the law.

The learned Court concerned is impressed upon to proceed in the matter as expeditiously as possible.
