% 28.01.2020 CRL.M.A. 1915/2020 (for exemption) Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

W.P.(CRL) 257/2020 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prays as follows:

"a. To issue the habeas corpus writ thereby directing the respondents no.2 to release the niece of the petitioner namely Nembati from the unlawful detention of the respondent no. 3 and further directed the

respondent no. 2 to provide the safety and security to the niece of the petitioner namely Nembati;

b. Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper may also be passed in the facts and circumstance of the case to meet the ends of justice."

The Delhi Police has produced before this Court Ms. Nembati, the niece of the petitioner.

Ms. Nembati who is stated to be 20 years old has made a statement before the Lady Head Constable Nisha and Insp. Harun Ahmad, Police Station Shalimar Bagh.

The Delhi Police is directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law after due investigation, into the said statement made by Ms. Nembati.

Ms. Nembati states that she will continue to reside with the petitioner, henceforth.

No other directions are called for in the present habeas corpus petition.

The petition is disposed of accordingly Dasti.
