The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner be released on parole to attend the wedding of his niece (daughter of petitioner's brother), which is scheduled to be held on 21.02.2020. 2.
A status report has been filed verifying that the wedding of the petitioner's niece is scheduled to be held on 21.02.2020. A nominal roll has bene filed, which indicates that the petitioner has already served sentence of approximately fourteen years and nine months. His conduct in jail during the last one year has been satisfactory. The petitioner has been released on furlough and parole on numerous occasions and there is no allegation that he has misused the said liberty.

In view of the above, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition.
The petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a
period of one week from the date of his release, subject to the petitioner furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety of an equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the trial court. The petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi. He shall provide his mobile number and ensure that he is reachable at all times. 3.
The petition is disposed of.
