The petitioner has filed this application for the disposal of the writ petition, in the light of an averment contained in the counter affidavit filed by the respondents.

The relief sought by the petitioner is for a direction upon the respondents to notify ten additional posts of Assistant in the Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board ["DAMB"]. Mr. Shanker Raju, learned counsel for the petitioner, points out that, in the counter affidavit, the following averment is has been made by the DAMB. "6. regarding notifying the additional post of Assistant is under consideration at the level of Directorate of Agriculture Marketing." 3.

Mr. Raju submits that, in view of the above, the writ petition may be disposed of, directing the respondents to take a decision within a particular timeframe.

Ms. Laavanya Kaushik, learned counsel for the respondents, has no objection to this request, but clarifies that no decision has yet been taken, and the process is still under way.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the writ petition is disposed of, with a direction upon the respondents to take a final decision within a period of four months from today. The rights and contentions of the parties are left open.

The next date of hearing, i.e. 16.09.2025 stands cancelled.
