By virtue of the present petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR No.525/2025 dated 22.10.2025 registered at PS.: Aman Vihar, Delhi under Sections 109(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS) and Sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959 (Arms Act) and all proceedings emanating therefrom, in view of the Compromise Deed dated 12.03.2026 [Annexure P4] arrived at between the petitioner and the respondent no.2, which is accompanied by the respective proofs of identities of the parties herein.

Issue notice. Learned APP for the State accepts notice, and submits, that he has no objection to the quashing of the aforesaid FIR. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Respondent no.2, present in Court, also accepts notice and affirms the terms of the aforesaid Compromise Deed dated 12.03.2026, and submits that he has no objection to the quashing of the aforesaid FIR. 4.
The petitioner and the respondent no.2, present in Court, as well as their credentials, as on record, have been identified by the Investigating Officer.

Facts disclose that the parties have voluntarily arrived at a settlement, and thus have filed their respective affidavit(s) along with the present petition to the aforesaid effect. As such, the parties shall remain bound by all the terms and conditions of the settlement arrived inter se themselves. Thus, even though the offences involved herein are such, however, following the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Jitendra Raghuvanshi & Ors. vs. Babita Raguvanshi & Anr. (2013) 4 SCC 58, Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab & Anr. (2012) 10 SCC 303 and Narinder Singh & Ors. vs. State of Punjab & Anr. (2014) 6 SCC 466, since there is nothing left to corroborate and prove the case of the prosecution, continuation of the aforesaid FIR against the petitioners will be an exercise in futility.

Resultantly, the present petition is allowed and FIR No.525/2025 dated 22.10.2025 registered at PS.: Aman Vihar, Delhi under Sections 109(1) of the BNS and Sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act and all proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 7.
As a gesture of goodwill, the petitioner voluntarily undertakes to supply 3 packages of 20 kg dog food along with 3 empty bowls to the PS.: Aman Vihar, Delhi within a period of one week for onwards distribution to the other nearby Police Stations.
