The present application has been filed seeking following relief: "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that the petitioner be allowed to withdraw the present petition, with a direction to the DDA to act as per their Policy and Guidelines issued by the Lt . Governor of Delhi and restore the lease deed of the said property in a time bound manner, asset out in the above said Policy and guidelines, in the interest of justice .
It is further prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to protect the petitioners with the directions to the DOA not to take any coercive action against the petitioners till the restoration of the lease deed be done as per their policy, in the interest of justice. It is further prayed that the petitioner may also be granted liberty to revive the present petition if the DDA fails to act as per the policy and guidelines, in the interest of justice."

Mr.
Sanjay Dewan, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners/applicants submits that he will not press the present petition any further in case the present application is treated as representation by the respondent/DDA and the same is disposed of in light of the guidelines bearing no. F.6A(142)67/LSB(I) Computer No.79944, as well as, Circular being F.No.F.1(91)2014-Coord.(LD)/DDA/191 dated 04.08.2015. 3.
Having regard to the limited prayer sought, this Court is of the view that the present petition can be disposed of by giving directions as articulated above by Mr. Dewan.

Accordingly, the respondent/DDA is directed to treat the present application of the petitioner as representation and the same may be disposed of within a period of 08 weeks in light of the guidelines, as well as, the Circular mentioned in para 2 above.

Needless to state that the present order has been passed without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties. However, the petitioners shall be at liberty to approach the Court against the speaking order, if so advised.

In view of the above, the application as well as the writ petition stands disposed of.
