This is a case in which the petitioner, through her guardian/mother, had applied for admission in Class I of the respondent no. 2 School ("the School") for the academic session 2023-2024 as a candidate belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. Consequent to a computerized draw of lots held by the Directorate of Education (DoE), the petitioner was shortlisted for admission to Class I in the School. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the interim order of this Court dated 01.03.2024 has been complied with by the School, and the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. petitioner has been granted provisional admission in respondent no. 2-school i.e. Gitarattan Jindal Public School, D-Block, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi110085. 3.
This Court has been informed that nothing further remains to be decided as the child of the petitioner has already been admitted in the respondent no. 2 school i.e. Gitarattan Jindal Public School and has been studying there since then.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 2-School does not object to the fact that they have granted provisional admission to the child of the petitioner and it is further stated that the same may be regularized and the writ petition be disposed of. 5.
Thus, considering the aforesaid submissions made before this Court, the provisional admission granted to the child of the petitioner in this case is made regular. Needless to state, the child of the petitioner herein would continue to be entitled to all the facilities available to EWS students, as has been provided in the RTE Act.

Accordingly, the writ petition alongwith pending application, if any, stands disposed of, in the above terms.
