The present petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent nos. 1 - 3 for providing protection to the petitioner. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 19.02.2024 accused Nitesh came to the house of the petitioner and assaulted the petitioner no. 1 and also took away her money.

A complaint was made by her which has now culminated into FIR No. 85/2024 under Sections 365/376 IPC registered at PS Pul Prahlad Pur. He submits that post registration of FIR she is receiving threats from the respondent nos. 4 - 9.

Issue notice. Learned ASC for the State accepts notice. 8.

He submits that the prayer (b) of the petitioner is not maintainable, however, insofar as the apprehension of the petitioner is concerned the SHO of the concerned police station may be directed to share his mobile number, as well as, the mobile number of the beat constables. 9.

In view of the above, the respondent no. 2 is directed to share his mobile number as well as the mobile numbers of the beat constables of the area with the present petitioners.

It is further directed that in the event any distress call is received by the SHO/IO, the same shall be attended to on urgent basis in accordance with law. 11.

The petition is disposed of.
