For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the matter is taken up today.

The learned standing counsel for the State submits that the missing girl was recovered on 19.03.2026 and was thereafter medically examined at the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital on the same day. On 21.03.2026, her statement under Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 was also recorded by the learned JMFC, Shahdara.

She states that she, on her own free will and volition, went to stay with a boy named Vivek. She further states that she would now like to return to her parental home.

We have also interacted with the parents of the girl. They submit that they are willing to take the girl back into their custody. 5.

Accordingly, the girl is given to the custody of her parents. 6.

The Status Report dated 23.03.2026 handed over by the learned Standing Counsel is taken on record.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. 8.

The next date of hearing, that is, 07.04.2026 stands cancelled.
