O R D E R
% 11.02.2020 Petitioner is seeking parole for 90 days to arrange basic necessities for his family, to attend marriage of son of his brother-in-law which is scheduled for 14th February, 2020 and to make arrangements for coaching of his minor daughter and to escort her to the examination centre, who has to appear in class 10th board examination. Petitioner has been sentenced to life imprisonment in FIR No. 569/2000, under Sections364A/34 IPC, registered at police station Preet Vihar, Delhi. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/State submits that the factum of examination of petitioner's daughter and marriage of son of brother-in-law stands verified.

In view of the above, this petition is allowed and in the interest of justice, petitioner is granted parole of five weeks from the date of his release on his executing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent, subject to following conditions: i) The petitioner shall provide his mobile phone number to the Jail Superintendent at the time of his release, which shall be kept in working conditions at all the times. The same shall not be changed without prior intimation to the Jail Superintendent;
ii) The petitioner shall report to the concerned Station House Officer (SHO) on every Monday at 11:00 a.m. during the period of parole;
iii) The petitioner shall duly surrender at the end of the period of parole; and iv) The petitioner shall also not indulge in any criminal activity while on parole.
A copy of this order be communicated to the Jail Superintendent. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
