% 11.02.2019 In terms of the purported settlement arrived at between the parties, an amount of Rs. 1,000/- is to be paid to the complainant every month. However, no amounts have been paid since June, 2018. The learned counsel for the petitioners states, upon instructions, that the said amount shall be paid to respondent no. 2 by tomorrow through an electronic transfer. The said amount shall not be withdrawn by respondent no. 2 till the next date. The complainant/R-2 is present in Court and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. Since she does not have a counsel, accordingly, Mr. Varun Dhingra, Advocate, who is present in Court, is appointed as her counsel. A copy of the petition shall be supplied to the learned counsel for respondent no. 2 during course of the day. He states, upon instructions, that although the complainant has resumed living with petitioner no. 1, she does
express some apprehensions.
At this stage, petitioner no. 1 undertakes that henceforth he shall deposit an amount of Rs. 3,000/- per month into respondent no. 2's bank account. He further undertakes to subscribe to a medical insurance policy for his child and respondent no. 2 or a family policy, for an amount not less than Rs. 5 lacs per annum, till he attains the age of 23 years. The documents of the medical policy shall be supplied to respondent no. 2 within three weeks from today and copy of the same shall also be supplied to the Investigating Officer. The petitioner also undertakes to fund the educational expenses of his child, till he graduates for a college/university. Renotify on 28.03.2019.
