CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV SHAKDHER

O R D E R

% 13.02.2020 1.

In the captioned matters, principally, challenge is laid to the notification dated 9.1.2020 issued by the respondent/Directorate General of Training (hereafter referred to as "DGT").

2.

Via this notification, the provision for grace mark, which was available up until then, was sought to be withdrawn. Since then, the DGT has, concededly, issued a clarification on 7.2.2020 making applicable the notification dated 9.1.2020 to those trainees, who would be admitted in August 2019 session and thereafter.

2.1 This clarification, which has been issued via Circular dated 7.2.2020 reads as under:

"...In continuation of this office letter even no. dated 09.01.2020 on the subject mentioned above, it is clarified that all the changes including no grace mark provision will be applicable for the trainees admitted in the session August, 2019 and onwards..." 3.

Given the aforesaid clarification, the main grievance of the petitioners in the captioned matters stands addressed. Therefore, the DGT will issue fresh mark-sheets to the petitioners taking into account the provision in place for grant of grace marks prior to notification dated 9.1.2020. 3.1 This exercise will be completed within the next two weeks. 4/5

4.

The captioned petitions are disposed of in the aforementioned terms. 5.

Resultantly, pending applications shall stand closed. 6.

Dasti.
