% 30.01.2018 This petition is filed under Section 14 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that he has received a communication dated 01.12.2017 from the learned Arbitrator on 10.01.2018. He submits that by the time he received the said communication, the time granted to the petitioner to file its claim petition had already expired. It is pleaded that this act causes grave apprehension in the mind of the petitioner.

In my opinion, it would be appropriate for the petitioner to approach the learned Arbitrator with a request for extension of time to file his pleadings.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner without prejudice to his rights and contentions submits that he would like to withdraw the present

petition with liberty to approach the learned Arbitrator to extend the time for filing his claim petition and also a disclosure statement under Section 12 of the Act.

Granting leave and liberty, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
