The present petition seeks quashing of debarment of the Petitioner by the Respondents through order dated 22nd February, 2024,1 for a period of three months from the list of pre-qualified bidders. 2.

Mr. Arun Kumar Verma, Senior Counsel for the Respondents, on instructions, states that the Respondents have decide to withdraw the debarment order because they understand that the rate quoted by the Petitioner was a typographical error. He further makes it clear that the withdrawal of the said debarment order, does not, in any way, amount to withdrawal of the decision to forfeit the bid security amount, which was also 1 "the Impugned Order"

communicated through the Impugned Order.

Counsel for the Petitioner states that the relief sought in the petition was confined to the directions of debarment, and therefore, in case the Respondents are agreeable to withdraw the case, the Petitioner would be satisfied.

In light of the afore-noted statement made by the Senior Counsel for the Respondent, the petition is disposed of. The Respondents are directed to issue a formal communication to the Petitioner in light of the statement made in Court today.
