CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANOJ JAIN

O R D E R

% 19.03.2026 1.

Petitioner, who is defending maintenance petition filed by his wife, seeks expeditious disposal of the same.

2.

The abovesaid maintenance petition was filed in the year 2018 and he submits that he is a resident of Panchkula, Haryana and the abovesaid petition has yet not been disposed of and is, presently, at the stage of evidence of his wife.

3.

However, after hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for petitioner, does not press the present petition and seeks liberty to file appropriate application before the learned Trial Court for expediting his case. 4.

This Court expects that, as and when, any such application is filed, learned Trial Court, after giving due opportunity of hearing to both the sides, and after keeping in mind its board position, would pass appropriate order in the abovesaid proposed application.

5.

Petition stands disposed of as not pressed.

6.

Pending application also stands disposed of.
