Petitioner inter alia impugns the rejection of his nomination and the award of election symbol to contest the forthcoming Elections of the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

By judgment dated 28.01.2020 in W.P.(C)1032/2020 titled Ms. Kiran Pal Singh Tyagi & Ors. v. State of NCT of Delhi, I have held that a writ petition under Article 226 is not maintainable and the only remedy that the petitioner would have to wait for the declaration of the result and then file an election petition in accordance with law. 3.

In view of the said judgment, this petition is held to be not maintainable. The same is accordingly dismissed. 4.
