This petition alleges wilful disobedience of the order dated 27th August 2024 passed by this order in Contempt Case No. 1338/2024. 2.
A perusal of said order would show that there is no direction passed against respondent nos. 1 and 2 in the said order. The mere mention of respondent nos. 1 and 2, which were not parties in the Contempt Case No. 1338/2024 relates to an article published on 20th March 2024, which finds mention in paragraph 10 of the said order.

A perusal of the said order does not indicate any directions issued against respondent nos.1 and 2, wilful disobedience of which can be agitated in a contempt petition.

It is further noted that petitioners themselves are respondent nos. 3 and 4 in the IPL filed by one Mr. Rahul Narula. 5.
The original Writ Petition (Crl.) 485/2024 was disposed of by the judgment dated 12th February 2024 (2024:DHC:1123-DB) noting as under: 6.
Alleging contempt of the same, Mr. Rahul Narula, the petitioner, had filed Cont. Case 1338/2024, which was disposed of by order dated 27th August 2024, in which the petitioner themselves were respondent nos. 3 and 7.
After having perused the petition and hearing the submission of the parties, the Court is of the opinion that these circumstances do not provide a cause of action for the petitioner to file a contempt petition, since there is no direction of which wilful disobedience can be alleged. 8.
Accordingly, this contempt petition stands dismissed along with the pending application.

Petitioner's counsel states that they would pursue other remedies in accordance with law regarding their grievance with the respondent no. 1 and 2. Needless to state that option is always available to the petitioners in law.
