Accordingly, present applications stand disposed of. W.P. (Crl.)283/2020 Present writ of habeas corpus has been filed by the petitioner-mother seeking production of her daughter Ms. Preeti Kumari, aged about 20 years who is missing since 22nd November, 2019. In the present petition it has been averred that the petitioner suspects Mohammad Naushad @ Pinto might be involved in the disappearance of her daughter. Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel for the State, who appears on an advance notice has handed over a Status Report dated 30th January, 2020. In the said Status Report it is stated that in pursuance to the

complaint filed by Munna Mandal-petitioner's husband, FIR No. 742/2019 under Section 365 IPC was registered with police station Nangloi. He states that Ms. Preeti Kumari was found at Vill-Sukhara-I, PSPhulbaria near railway station Barauni junction Begusarai, Bihar. He further states that Ms. Preeti Kumari's statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. was duly recorded before the Court of Ms. Neha Pandey, learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. In the Status Report is has been averrred as under:- "7. That on compliance of Notice, the victim Preeti along with her husband Md. Naushad, came to Tis Hazari Court on 15.01.2020 and her statements U/s 164 Cr PC was got recorded before the Hon'ble court of Ms. Neeraj Pandey, Ld-MM Tis Hazari Courts Delhi (Link MM to Ms. Ruby Neeraj Kumar, LdMM, THC).

In her statements U/s 164 CrPC she stated that she loves Naushad aged 22 yrs as both are known to each other for 2-2.5 Yrs. On 22.11.19 at 7AM she went with Md. Naushad to Goa with her own consent. After that they went to Barauni, Bihar where she married him in presence of Naushad's family. She has informed her parents about the marriage and now she does not want any action against Naushad. She is happy with him." Mr. Rahul Mehra states that even a Cancellation Report has been filed in the present case.

In view of the aforesaid Status Report, the present writ petition is dismissed.
