The instant petition is for the following reliefs:- "1. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Central Information Commission to decide the Petitioner's non-compliance complaint dated-06.12.2022 (Annexure P-5) within a time-bound period;
2. Direct the CIC to decide the Petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2026(Annexure P-10) expeditiously;
3. Direct Respondent authorities to produce the complete original record relating to the order dated-10.04.2020 (Annexure P-1) before Respondent No.1 for proper adjudication of the pending complaint.
4. Award costs in favour of the Petitioner for being compelled to approach this Hon'ble Court repeatedly;
5. Pass such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

period of three weeks.

The petitioner seems to be aggrieved on account of non-compliance of the said direction. He filed a complaint before the CIC on 06.12.2022 and a reminder thereof was sent on 09.01.2026.

Section 18(1)(a) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 ('RTI Act') provides as under:- "18. ....
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act, it shall be the duty of the Central Information Commission or State Information Commission, as the case may be, to receive and inquire into a complaint from any person,. (a)who has been unable to submit a request to a Central Public Information Officer or State Public Information Officer, as the case may be, either by reason that no such officer has been appointed under this Act, or because the Central Assistant Public Information Officer or State Assistant Public Information Officer, as the case may be, has refused to accept his or her application for information or appeal under this Act for forwarding the same to the Central Public Information Officer or State Public Information Officer or Senior Officer specified in sub-section (1) of section 19 or the Central Information Commission or the State Information Commission, as the case may be."

If the petitioner is aggrieved by non-compliance of the direction of the CIC, he shall be entitled to get his grievance redressed by the CIC under Section 18 of the RTI Act.

Let the CIC to decide to the petitioner's pending application with due expedition within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of the order passed today.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
