% 31.01.2020 Petitioner, who is a senior citizen, is seeking protection from respondents No. 6 to 10.
Notice.
Mr. Sanjay Lao, Additional Standing Counsel, for respondent/State submits that the learned Metropolitan Magistrate vide order dated 31st May, 2029 has already directed the beat constable of police station Inderpuri to visit the house of complainant in every two days to check her welfare.
The Investigating Officer, present in the Court, submits that he keeps visiting the house of the petitioner but she does not open the door W.P.(CRL) 292/2020
and a camera has also been installed by petitioner. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner will allow the beat constable to enter the house and ensure petitioner's safety and submits that the required protection will be provided to petitioner. Let Mobile number of Beat Constable, W/ASI, Division Officer as well as SHO be provided to the petitioner forthwith so that in case of any exigency, the petitioner can contact the concerned officials. Let the Beat Constable visit the petitioner everyday in the beginning and thereafter, when he is satisfied on the basis of interaction with the petitioner that there is no threat, every second day to ensure her safety as per the order of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate.
In view of the above, learned counsel for petitioners does not press this petition.
Heard. Allowed.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
